There are other drawing courses,
but they're not like this
I help total beginners draw realistic portraits in 7 days. No talent. No fancy supplies. Just perception.
So how did I get here?
45 days ago, I couldn't draw a stick figure. I was 25, working full-time, drowning in tutorial overwhelm. Then I discovered ONE book — Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards — and committed to 6-hour Saturday sessions.
The first two weeks were brutal. I was drawing what I thought faces looked like. Eyes like almonds. Noses like triangles. I compared myself to YouTube artists and almost quit.
Then I hit the "perceiving edges/contour" chapter. Something clicked. I stopped trying to draw "a hand" and started tracing actual edges I could see. Suddenly, hands looked 3D. Faces had depth. Everything changed.
By week 7, I had completed 14 portraits with nothing but a $15 toolkit and Saturday mornings. Strangers thought I'd been drawing for years.
